Haoskyer began as a dream shared by three maritime enthusiasts who met during their studies at the University of British Columbia's Marine Engineering program. Captain Desmond Rowe, Perla Barton, and business visionary David Thompson recognized a gap in Canada's luxury yacht rental market.
Our name "Haoskyer" comes from the Old Norse words meaning "high sky," reflecting our belief that the horizon should never limit your dreams. This philosophy guides everything we do, from our commitment to sustainable practices to our dedication to creating memories that last a lifetime.
